Kikko Matsumoto, L. Ac.
**15 CEU Hours, approved by the California Acupuncture Board**
Japanese Kiiko-Style Acupuncture for Menopausal Symptoms & Gynecological Issues (Day 1)
Diabetes, Hepatitis, & Other Digestive Disturbances (Day 2)
In this two-day seminar, prominent
Japanese acupuncturist Kiiko
Matsumoto will provide lectures and
demonstrations on effective acupuncture
treatments for women dealing
with menopausal symptoms and
other gynecological problems (Day 1)
and for people with diabetes, hepatitis,
and other digestive disturbances
(Day 2). She will discuss common
palpatory findings on the abdomen
and elsewhere, and corresponding acupuncture treatments for these findings and symptoms that typically
produce tremendous clinical effects.
Kiiko’s style of acupuncture is a synthesis
of her own clinical findings and
ideas with the approaches of many
prominent Japanese acupuncturists.
Through extensive and intensive clinical
practice as well as her own readings
and interpretations of the Chinese
medical classics, Ms. Matsumoto
has succeeded in integrating different
approaches to create a coherent and
highly effective style of her own that
embodies ideas from the Chinese
classics and modern Western medicine.
The main characteristic of this style
of acupuncture is the very close
relationship between the various
medical theories and the human
body. Such a relationship is
obtained by palpation and verification
of acupuncture points and their
clinical effectiveness before beginning
a treatment.
