John Holmstrom is a well-known L.A. area herbalist, acupuncturist and Ayurvedic practitioner, who has established Ayurvedic herb farms in India and has studied Ayurvedic medicine for over 30 years.
This course will explore plant identification, explore the healing properties of local plants and train students on the practical processes for transforming these plants into natural products, i.e. ointments, tonics, etc.
The cost of the comprehensive 12-week course is $600. The course can also be taken for certificate and/or degree credit for students wishing to formally enroll in one of AUCM's programs.
