| Description: | This course examines the fundamental principles of classical homeopathy, including Hahnemann’s conceptions of the vital force and its role in health and disease, the law of similars, the law of provings, the totality of symptoms, the concept of potentization, hierarchy of the body systems, Herring’s Law of cure, progression of chronic diseases, issues of suppression, palliation, aggravation, and antidotes, and an introduction to Materia Medica and Repertories. Students will read, interpret, and evaluate several passages from Hahnemann’s Organon of Medical Art; and compare and contrast various source materials on several remedies. | |
